YOU MUST BE BASED IN LONDON
I am a solo artist called AKA LEØN and i'm looking for some players to play in my backing band who are passionate and who believe in my music. I would describe my music as a cross between Mac Demarco, King Krule, Wolf Alice, and Tame Impala to name a few bands and in general my music is Indie Rock. I am looking for players who i can collaborate with since I need to arrange my tracks and come up with parts for the other instruments to play. You all would be more than just a backing band!
We would be rehearsing at Westbourne Rehearsal Studios which is just off Paddington, since I have a connection there. We would also be recording my material in a recording studio that is privately facilitated at the same studio.
I'm looking for us to have recorded a 4 track ep by the end of October, whilst I will release a demo or two in September. I'm also keen for us to have most of our rehearsals in the mornings, tuesday or thursdays (11am-2 or 3) and possibly on the weekend. That being said I'd prefer if you either had a part time job or if you were a student. I would like our aim for us to be playing some gigs around October when the ep drops.
THIS IS A NON PAID POSITION
Once paid gigs start to happen all members will receive a cut.
